Absolutely yes ! La Glisse has taught more than 50 local kids here in south Fuerteventura. From 30 kg and 10 years old its already possible, with adequate materials and adaptive methods. We learn with fun taking care about safety. Private lessons only.

Kitesurf is an amazing sport. It gathers nature and living people. You can enjoy it with your friends/family and see how fast you improve your skills. It’s a perfect purpose for travelling and discover new places, meet new people and live unforgettable experiences. Connect with the elements like tides and winds and find yourself a new passion!

Definitely not ! We always care about safety and always ensure that you’re feeling comfortable handling your kite. We make sure that you know what to do in delicate situations by Quick releasing the safety system of your bar. Avoid troubles is so easy nowadays, just don’t worry ! Drive slowly and forget about problems !

It depends the season. In summer from may to September we generally use kites in between 5m and 9m as the Alize’s winds range blow around 25knots in a side offshore direction. During winter between October and April we have more changing wind directions, so we have to use different sizes of kite from 5m to 15m.

The average time to get to upwind riding steps depends on several factors. If you already practice on a decent level windsurfing, surfing, wakeboard, sailing, snowboard, etc… it will take around 10 hours. If you are a total neophyte it could take more than 10 hours to assimilate a new sport. What you need most is self commitment, core control and focus.
